This has to be a joke right? Like, someone must have put this on as a prank, right? RIGHT???
On another note, would any of you be interested in a short, biased review of the 2014 BMW 535d? Because you’re gonna get one! Coming soon...

Got Kinja’d on my edit, but it looks like Travis Okulski has taken care of that, already - http://jalopnik.com/2014-bmw-535d-…
I’m gonna write one anyway. I’ve always wanted to review a car, even in a relatively informal capacity, and the 535 is the most Oppo car to which I have consistent access.

Is the badge really that wonky?
I think if you spec some/any M options you can get an M badge on anything. It cheapens the brand, but it means that many of them probably aren’t fakers - any more than BMW is a faker.

I don’t think there’s any X3 that comes from the factory with an M badge on the back... I’ve seen them on steering wheels, door sills, etc., but at least stateside there are very few non-M models that have an M badge on the rear.

I thought maybe all of them did. I’ve seen so many 5-series etc with “M” badges but not “M5" badges that I’ve learned to accept it.
